Statutory Leaves A list of statutory leaves is contained in Appendix L to this Agreement. Statutory leaves are subject to change or repeal and are not grievable or arbitrable under the provisions of Article 17 of this Agreement.
Statutory Leave This article recognizes the statutory obligations of the University and the Union to provide unpaid leaves to employees for situations not described in any other provision of the Collective Agreement. Examples of such Statutory Leaves include: • Family Responsibility Leave; • Reservist Leave;
Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.
W orkers’ Compensation The Contractor acknowledges the State of California requires every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code. If Contractor has employees, a copy of the certificate evidencing such insurance, a letter of self-insurance, or a copy of the Certificate of Consent to Self-Insure shall be provided to County prior to commencement of work.
Statutory “Parental Leave” means a leave of absence from employment for one of the following reasons:

Statutory Rights Nothing in this Clause 17 shall be construed as restricting the rights of the Executive or the Company under sections 39 to 43 Patents Xxx 0000.
Statutes Any reference to a statute refers to such statute and all rules and regulations made under it, as it or they may have been or may from time to time be amended or re-enacted, unless stated otherwise.
Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.
Statutory Requirements All statutory requirements for the valid consummation by the Company of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement shall have been fulfilled. All authorizations, consents and approvals of all governments and other persons required to be obtained in order to permit consummation by the Company of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement shall have been obtained.
