Super All em who are required to work on Good Labour Day, or Christmas bay, shall be paid at time and one-half (1%) rates addition to their regular monthly pay rate. The employee shall be required in all such cases to a certificate of illness a medical practitioner. The provisions Section Paragraph shall not apply to Employer scheduled statutory holidays rescheduled in accordance with paragraph. Such rescheduled statutory holidays shall be rescheduled not later than January of the year following the year in respect of which they were originally scheduled. STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND ANNUAL VACATIONS. 8.1 The Employer agrees to provide all regular and temporary employees with the following statutory holidays, without loss of pay: New Years Day Family Day Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Canada Day BC Day Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Day Boxing Day Two Floating Days and any other day that may be stated a legal holiday by the Provincial, Civic, and/or Federal Government. The Employer further agrees that should one of the above statutory holidays fall on either a Saturday or a Sunday or regular scheduled day off, the employee shall receive an additional day or days off, with pay, to be taken the working day preceding the holiday or the working day succeeding the holiday. The day(s) given will be determined by the Employer.
STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND ANNUAL VACATIONS. 11.11 Subject to operational requirements as determined by the Village, the Village shall endeavour to approve an employee’s vacation at the times requested by the employee. Employees may request written confirmation of their assigned vacation time(s), and when so requested, a written confirmation shall be provided to the employee by the Village. Where two (2) or more employees bid on the same vacation period and operational requirements permit only one (1) employee to take that vacation period, then the most senior employee shall have his/her choice of that period.
STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND ANNUAL VACATIONS. 9.01 If an employee is required to work on Good Friday, Labour Day or Christmas Day, the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1.5) plus straight time for all hours worked. In addition, each regular employee will receive seven point two (7.2) paid hour off. If an employee is required to work on one of the Government proclaimed Statutory Holidays listed in Article 9.01 other than Super Stats, the employee shall be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked, and in addition, will receive seven point two (7.2) paid hours off.
