State General Prevailing Wage Rates. A. Both Federal and State prevailing wage requirements apply to this contract. The Contractor shall ascertain which prevailing wage determination applies for each type of work performed. Where there is a conflict in State and Federal prevailing wage rates for the same work, pay the higher of the two rates.

State General Prevailing Wage Rates. A. The Contractor agrees to comply with all of the applicable provisions of the Labor Code including those provisions requiring the payment of not less than the general prevailing rate of wages. The Contractor further agrees to the penalties and forfeitures provided in said Code in the event a violation of any of the provisions occurs in the execution of this Agreement.
State General Prevailing Wage Rates. State General Prevailing Wage Rates will apply for the County of Los Angeles, as described in the attached Proposed Form of Agreement (Attachment 13). The predetermined general prevailing wage rates published by the Director of Industrial Relations may be obtained via the Internet: xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx or from the Caltrans District or Region Labor Compliance Officer Proposed Form of Agreement’s, (Attachment 3). It is the bidder's responsibility to use the correct classification determination published by the Department of Industrial Relations.

  • STATE PREVAILING WAGE RATES A. CONSULTANT shall comply with the State of California’s General Prevailing Wage Rate requirements in accordance with California Labor Code, Section 1770, and all Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances applicable to the work.

  • Minimum Wage Rates It shall include, in all contracts in excess of $2,000 for work on any projects funded under this grant agreement which involve labor, provisions establishing minimum rates of wages, to be predetermined by the Secretary of Labor, in accordance with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 276a-276a-5), which contractors shall pay to skilled and unskilled labor, and such minimum rates shall be stated in the invitation for bids and shall be included in proposals or bids for the work.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Hourly Wage Rates The Employer shall pay wages to every employee covered by this Agreement at the rates set forth in Schedule "A" hereunto annexed in respect of the various classifications therein contained. Schedule "A" shall be deemed to be contained in, and form a part of this Agreement.

  • Prevailing Wage Rate Applicable to Bid Submissions A copy of the applicable prevailing wage rates to be paid or provided are annexed to the Bid Documents. Bidders must submit Bids which are based upon the prevailing hourly wages, and supplements in cash or equivalent benefits (i.e., fringe benefits and any cash or non-cash compensation which are not wages, as defined by law) that equal or exceed the applicable prevailing wage rate(s) for the location where the work is to be performed. Bidders may not submit Bids based upon hourly wage rates and supplements below the applicable prevailing wage rates as established by the New York State Department of Labor. Bids that fail to comply with this requirement will be disqualified.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.   • Sleeping Room Rate(s) A. The Contractor shall provide sleeping rooms to the Attendees at the following rate during the Program:

  • Rental Rates and Wage Rates for Change Orders As soon as is practical, but prior to the completion of the Construction Preparation Period and in any event prior to the commencement of any Work on the Site, the Contractor shall submit in accordance with the style and format of a specimen to be furnished by the Owner for consideration of the Owner the following: (1) a proposal for rental rates on heavy construction equipment that shall apply in the event Change Order Work is performed, and (2) a proposal for wage rates for the types of project labor that shall apply in the event of the execution of any Change Order Work. Under penalty of false swearing, a principal of the contracting firm shall certify that the proposal for rental rates and proposal for wage rates do not exceed current costs for like services. The Owner will in no event consider a rental rate in excess of eighty percent of the rate set forth in the latest edition of the "Compilation of Nationally Averaged Rental Rates for Construction Equipment" of the Associated Equipment Distributors unless the rates proposed in excess of eighty percent are supported by proof satisfactory to the Owner that the excess rates are reasonable. If the equipment is owned by the Contractor the costs shall be charged at a maximum of eighty percent of market monthly rental rates for the amount of time used. If applicable, transportation costs may be included. The decision of the Owner shall be final, binding and conclusive on all parties. Rental rates shall be payable only for the actual time the equipment is required on the Site.

  • Prevailing Wage Requirements California Labor Code and/ or Resolutions of the San Xxxx City Council require the payment of not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rates for holiday and overtime and adherence to all labor standards and regulations. The General Prevailing Wage Rates may be adjusted throughout the term of this Agreement. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Contractor shall not be entitled to any adjustment in compensation rates in the event there are adjustments to the General Prevailing Wage Rates.
