State Education Incentive Sample Clauses

State Education Incentive. Pursuant to Florida State Statute Chapter 943.22, employees are compensated for higher education in criminal justice related programs. Employees receiving basic certification prior to July 1, 1980, receive $25.00 per month; employees having a community college degree or equivalent receive $30.00 per month; employees having a bachelor's degree receive an additional $50.00 per month; employees completing qualifying blocks of approved training as established by the State Career Development Program receive $120.00 per month. The maximum aggregate amount any employee receives under FSS 943.22 is $130.00 per month. The City of Tampa provides payments as required under FSS 943.22. These benefits are directed by State Law and are separate and apart from any Tuition Reimbursement Program sponsored by the City of Tampa. The parties recognize that should the State alter or cease this program, the City shall not be held responsible for continuing the payment of said funds.

  • Education Incentive A. The following monthly education incentive pay will be paid to each employee upon completing the listed degree and providing proof of completion to the Agency. Associate Degree Two percent (2%) Bachelor Degree Four percent (4%)

  • Employee Education (A) At the discretion of the Agency Head or designee, the state may allow employees to attend short courses, institutes, and workshops which will improve their performance in their current position, without a loss of pay and benefits.

  • Education Incentive Pay An employee shall be entitled to receive educational incentive pay as follows:

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund, one (1¢) cent per hour per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies to be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established by the National Union, CAW, effective from date of ratification and sent by the Company to the following address: CAW Paid Education Leave Program, 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X 0X0.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Health Promotion Incentives The Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans shall develop a program which provides incentives for employees who participate in a health promotion program. The health promotion program shall emphasize the adoption and maintenance of more healthy lifestyle behaviors and shall encourage wiser usage of the health care system.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • HOME EDUCATION 1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members.

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.
