Common use of STATE AUDIT Clause in Contracts

STATE AUDIT. Pursuant to Government Code Section 8546.7, CITY and COUNTY shall be subject to examination and audit by the State Auditor for a period of three (3) years after final payment by CITY to COUNTY under this Agreement. CITY and COUNTY shall retain all records relating to the performance of this Agreement for said three-year period, except that those records pertaining to any audit then in progress, or to any claims or litigation, shall be retained beyond said three-year period until final resolution of said audit, claim or litigation.

CITY and COUNTY shall retain 2 all records relating to the performance of this Agreement for said three-year period, 3 except that those records pertaining to any audit then in progress, or to any claims or 4 litigation, shall be retained beyond said three-year period period, until final resolution of said 5 audit, claim or litigation.
