Common use of Starting Date Clause in Contracts

Starting Date. In a territory that did not have an existing company, franchisee or other Liberty tax preparation office in the most recent Tax Season (“Undeveloped Territory”), you agree to begin operation and be open for business no later than January 8 following the Effective Date of this Agreement and agree to be open for business no later than January 2 for each year thereafter. For a Developed Territory, you agree to begin operations and be open for business no later than January 2 following the Effective Date of this Agreement and for every year thereafter.
