Standards and Governance. 7.1 There will be an on-going commitment to promoting high standards of conduct of members and co-opted members of Local Councils and the Borough Council as required by the Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, section 27. This will be based on the Xxxxx Principles that are appended to the Kent Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct issued by the National Association of Local Councils. In addition, two members of the Local Councils will sit on the Borough Council’s Audit and Governance Committee.
Standards and Governance. The Supplier shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licences, authorisations, consents or permits required in relation to the performance of its obligations under this Contract. The Supplier shall at all times comply with the Standards specified in the Contract, and where applicable shall maintain accreditation with the relevant quality Standards' authorisation body. To the extent that the standard to which the Goods and/or Services must be provided has not been specified in the Contract, the Supplier shall agree the relevant standard for the provision of the Goods and/or Services with the Council prior to the provision of the Goods and/or Services commencing, and in any event, the Supplier shall perform its obligations under the Contract in accordance with all applicable Law and Good Industry Practice. The Supplier shall be responsible for the accuracy of all drawings, plans, documentation and information supplied to the Council in connection with the performance of this Contract. The Supplier shall ensure that its Employees shall at all times during the Contract Period: faithfully and diligently perform those duties and exercise such powers as necessary in connection with the provision of the Goods and/or Services; obey all lawful instructions and reasonable directions of the Council and provide the Goods and/or Services to the reasonable satisfaction of the Council; and apply all reasonable skill, care and diligence. The Supplier shall perform its obligations under the Contract in a timely manner. The Supplier shall, at no additional charge, provide on request to the Council complete and accurate data, management information and performance monitoring reports in accordance with the provisions of the Specification and/or Schedule 3 (Performance Monitoring and Reporting).
