Stand Downs. Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the right of the Employer to deduct payment for any day an Employee cannot be usefully employed because of any stoppage of work by any cause for which the Employer cannot reasonably be held responsible.
Stand Downs. (1) The Company is entitled to deduct payment for any day or part of a day an Employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike or any breakdown in machinery or any other reason for which the Company cannot be reasonably held responsible, as long as the Company has no useful alternative work available.

Stand Downs. The employer shall be entitled to deduct payment for any day or portion of a day upon which the employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike by the union or unions affiliated with it, or by any other association or union, or through the breakdown of the employer's machinery or any stoppage or work by any clause which the employer cannot reasonably prevent.
Stand Downs. The Employer has the right to stand down an employee without pay for any day or part of a day for which the employee cannot perform their normal duties or otherwise be usefully employed due to any cause for which the employer cannot reasonably be held responsible. The right to stand down an employee is subject to the employer ensuring that all options for useful work have been explored before the stand down is implemented.
Stand Downs. 14.1 The employer may deduct payment for any day or part of a day on which an employee cannot be usefully employed for the following reasons: • a strike or stop work meeting • any cause of a shortage of work for which the employer cannot reasonably be held responsible.
Stand Downs. In addition to the provisions of clause 4.6 of the Award, where the Company cannot provide all or some of the full time employees with gainful work due to conditions out of its control, it may at its discretion direct all or some of its employees to utilise some of their accumulated rostered days off or annual leave entitlements. The Company shall in making such a decision not discriminate against full time employees by continuing to utilise the services of casuals during such a period. Ending employment

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Clause the Company shall have the right to stand an employee down for refusal of duty, malingering, inefficiency, neglect of duty or misconduct on the part of the employee and to deduct payment for any day or portion of a day during which the employee is so stood down, provided that:
Stand Downs. 51.1 When a residential college or the Yarm Gwanga Childcare Centre is in recess and it is necessary to stand down full-time employees, they will be paid half ordinary pay for the period during which they have been stood down.
