Staffing and Workload Standards. The Employer shall assign workloads to treat Employees as equitably as possible. The Employer shall consider the re-distribution of staff or positions among an Employer’s programs, shifts or work sites or other means of alleviating excess workload in a timely manner and shall specifically consider hiring additional staff where there are chronic workload problems.

Staffing and Workload Standards. The University will make reasonable efforts to provide equitable distribution of work within a unit considering business needs. The University may consider increasing a part-time bargaining unit employee’s appointment percentage, may consider giving the employee an interim appointment, or may decide to hire additional staff. The University may also consider re-distribution of staff or positions among departments, shifts, or work sites or other means of alleviating excess workload when other options are available. If the Union has a concern regarding staffing issues in a particular area, they may be brought up at the Labor Management Committee Meeting.

  • WORKLOAD STANDARDS One (1) Direct Service Hour (DSH) will be equal to sixty (60) minutes of direct services.

If necessary to assess extent of defect, Purchaser shall make sample saw cuts or wedges. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris.   • Service Level Standards In addition to all other requirements in this Agreement, and in accordance with the Best Claims Practices & Estimating Guidelines, Vendor shall use reasonable and good faith efforts to meet the Service Level Standards set forth below.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.
