Staff Development Fund. (a) An amount equal to three-quarters of one percent (0.75%) of the gross annual CUPE payroll shall be allocated to the Staff Development Fund. Staff Development Fund. 9.3.1 A fund in the amount of one million, one hundred and fifty thousand ($1,150,000) is available annually to teachers or groups of teachers for the purpose of professional development. This fund shall be known as the Staff Development Fund. This amount will be distributed to the Local in two equal amounts. The first amount will be provided during the last business week in August and the second amount during the first business week in January.
Staff Development Fund. 29.1 Effective September 1, 2015 a fund in the amount of one hundred and forty five thousand dollars ($145,000) is available annually to members of the Professional Support Staff employee group for the purpose of professional development.

Tuition, fees and other expenses shall be provided subject to the availability of funds for this purpose.

Employer-required education will not be paid for out of Staff Development Funds, and will be in addition to benefits provided in this section.
