Consistent with the Staff Utilization section, non- 51 staff may be utilized whenever possible to release staff. It shall be the expectation to implement 52 solutions that will not reduce instructional time. Another possible solution may include having 1 staff members work collaboratively to arrange for coverage through joint supervision of 2 students. 4 D. Specialists. Classroom starting time for music, physical education, and librarians will be the 5 first day of school and will continue through the last full day of school. 7 Any time a specialist believes their workload is excessive, the specialist may request a 8 workload impact meeting with the program administrator, and a PEA representative if 9 requested, to resolve the situation.
Staff Breaks. Staff breaks are not part of working time. After four-and-half (4,5) hours of continuous performance, the staff are eligible to a min. 30-minutes food & rest recess. Should work exceed nine-and-half (9,5) hours, staff are entitled to another 30-minutes food & rest recess. Neither that, however, is taken as part of their working time. In Amendment No. 1 to the Collective Agreement, the Employer shall - with due accuracy - specify worksites where work cannot be suspended and where - consequently - taking a food & rest recess is unfeasible. In that case, the shift is not suspended, and the entire shift period is rated as job performance. Even without operation/work stoppage, staff shall be provided with a reasonable time for food & rest recess. At round-the-clock worksites, food & rest recess are taken as per time schedule negotiated with LUC, and upon senior executive´s awareness.

  • Coffee Breaks The Company will provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each work day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.

  • Breaks 16.1 Two separate ten-minute tea breaks (in addition to meal breaks) shall be allowed each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more; where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked employees shall be allowed one 10-minute tea break in each four-hour period. Subject to agreement between the employer and the employee, the two ten-minute tea breaks may alternatively be taken as one 20-minute tea break, or by one ten-minute tea break with the employee allowed to proceed off duty ten minutes before the completion of the normal shift finishing time. Such tea break(s) shall count as working time.

  • REAPPOINTMENT AFTER ABSENCE DUE TO CHILDCARE a) Employees who resign to care for a dependent pre-school child or children may apply to their former employer for preferential appointment to a position which is substantially the same in character and at the same or lower grading as the position previously held.

  • CLOUD SERVICE The Cloud Service offering, is described below and is specified in an Order Document for the selected entitled offerings.   • Meals and Breaks Whenever possible Dispatchers will be relieved for a lunch break, not to exceed one-half hour, at or near the halfway point through the shift when feasible. If during the break, a situation arises that it is necessary for the dispatcher to return to dispatching duties, they will do so without delay and they shall be paid an additional amount of wages equal to the straight time wage rate for the period of the lunch break lost, up to one half hour.   • Health Examination 27-1 When the District determines that a MBU's health condition (mental or physical) may be impairing his/her job performance, the immediate supervisor, site administrator, or Regional Assistant Superintendent, with the concurrence of the Human Resources Department may, with just cause, direct the MBU to have a health examination at District expense. The MBU will be given a copy of the directive which will state the reason(s) for such examination. Following the examination, results will be sent by the Human Resources Department to the MBU and immediate supervisor. All communication which results from the implementation of this Article shall be handled in a confidential manner. ARTICLE TWENTY-EIGHT

  • Laundry Service If the Government provides a laundry service at the incident base camp, the Contractor may utilize the service at no cost.
