Split Tours. 9B.01 The Company and Union recognize that in certain administrative work groups it may be beneficial to the employees and in the best interest of the business to establish a split tour schedule on a voluntary basis. Accordingly, where the needs of the business permit, and subject to management approval, employees may volunteer to split a seven and one-half (7.5) hour tour. Management will establish the work schedule of the employees who work a split tour.

  • Split Shifts No shift shall be split for a period longer than the regularly scheduled meal and rest periods as provided for in Article 14.08.

  • Split Shift Except as otherwise provided in subsection B. below, any employee required to work a split shift shall be paid at a rate of five percent over and above his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for the entire number of hours so worked.
