Spinning Reserve. Spinning reserve shall be agreed to annually but will not be less than the capacity of the largest unit on the interconnected systems. The spinning reserve will be shared in the ratio of the largest generator units in each country. The speed droop governor characteristics will be adjusted to ensure the required response.
Spinning Reserve. The Plant should be capable of operating at part load in both modes Open Cycle Operation and Combined Cycle Operation with governor control. Fuel Component of the Energy Charge for part load operation will be determined according to Schedule 5 -.
Spinning Reserve. The purpose of the Spinning Reserve Requirement is to insure a degree of spinning reserve capability and diversity within the Coordinated System. The Parties recognize that tie line control requirements, transmission limitations, local standby reserves, and prudent operating practices may result in greater Spinning Reserves for some Parties than the Spinning Reserve Requirement hereafter specified. Each Party shall maintain during the current Operating Year Spinning Reserves of not less than one per cent of its EAPL. A Party may arrange with another system to supply all or part of its Spinning Reserve Requirement.

Spinning Reserve. The hourly Spinning Reserve quota for a Party ---------------- shall be equal to fifty percent (50%) of its hourly Contingency Reserve quota, as determined in accordance with Section A-7.1 herein; provided, however, each Party shall maintain at least 3 MW of Spinning Reserve at all times. Graphic representations of the Party's Contingency Reserve and Spinning Reserve calculations are depicted in Attachment 3 to this Service Schedule A.
Spinning Reserve. During the Primary Term, at any time when the temperature at the Cogeneration Facility is below 85 degrees F and up to a maximum of two hundred (200) hours in each calendar year when said temperature is above 85 degrees F, Cogenron shall, if requested by TU Electric, provide at least six percent (6%) additional capacity of the then released capacity for a minimum of six (6) consecutive hours. The only exception to the foregoing will be those hours in which the steam demand on the Cogeneration Facility is 300,000 lbs/hr or less, in which case Cogenron will provide 15 MW of additional capacity. The Cogeneration Facility will be operated in such a manner as to allow such response to be at a rate of seventy (70) MW in twelve and one-half (12 1/2) seconds. This Section 7.5.10 shall have no application during the Secondary Term hereof.
