  • Board of Trustees 2.1.1 The Board of Trustees will be comprised of 9 voting members that include 5 employee representatives and 4 employer representatives. The Board of Trustees will include among its members two independent experts, one representing the employer representatives and one representing the employee representatives. The employee representatives will be responsible for the appointment and termination of the employee Trustees, and the employer representatives will be responsible for the appointment and termination of the employer Trustees.

  • RIGHTS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION The Board of Education, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the School district, hereby retains and reserves unto itself all powers, rights, authority, duties, and responsibilities conferred upon and vested in it by the laws and the constitution of the State of Michigan, and of the United States, including, but without limiting, the generality of the foregoing, the right:

  • Committee Authority The Committee shall have all discretion, power, and authority to interpret the Plan and this Agreement and to adopt such rules for the administration, interpretation and application of the Plan as are consistent therewith. All actions taken and all interpretations and determinations made by the Committee in good faith shall be final and binding upon the Employee, the Company and all other interested persons, and shall be given the maximum deference permitted by law.   • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • Audit Authority The Section of Audit and Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic shall act as the Audit Authority. The Head of the Audit Authority is the Director General of the Section of Audit and Control. The Director General of the Section of Audit and Control is directly subordinated to the Minister of Finance. The Section of Audit and Control is independent and functionally separated from the Certifying Authority, other administrative units of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, and other bodies involved in the implementation of the Financial Mechanism.   • Responsibilities of Committee The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over wages or any other matter of collective bargaining, including the administration of this Agreement. The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other committee of the Union or of the Employer and shall not have the power to bind either the Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions.
