Special Students. The Board will give support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline. Whenever it appears that a particular pupil requires the attention of special counselors, social workers, or law enforcement personnel, the teacher shall advise the principal, and if the principal concurs, steps shall be taken to provide such special attention as is required. In-the event of a disagreement, the teacher may appeal the decision to the Superintendent or designee.
Special Students. The Board/Administration will immediately notify any bus driver who is required to transport any special or handicapped children on their bus route as soon as the Board/Administration is aware of the situation. The bus driver shall be given as much information as necessary to effectively cope with these special circumstances.
Special Students. 8 1. For every four students certified eligible for a full-time Special 9 Education class assigned into a regular education classroom, an 10 instructional aide will accompany and assist the students at the 11 request of the regular education teacher.
