SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT. Certain jobs may require a particular skill or particular knowledge or education. In such cases the job requirements will be posted and testing will be required to prove proficiency in those areas. Any tests required will be scored on a pass/fail basis only and will not be used in the calculation of the candidate’s overall score.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT. The Job Description identifies minimum requirements. Candidates not meeting minimal requirements shall not be moved forward in the recruitment process. Written or Cognitive testing may be required to ensure particular proficiencies. When such testing is required, all candidates meeting the minimum requirements as noted above, shall participate in the testing process. Candidates achieving a score of 60% or higher shall be moved forward in the recruitment process. For those positions with a physical requirement, members must meet the minimum standard as set by the particular test. Education/Experience and skill familiarity shall be reviewed and scored during the interview process. Candidates not meeting the minimum requirements shall not be considered further in the recruitment process. The review of Skill Familiarity may include specific detailed oral questions developed to allow candidates to demonstrate particular proficiencies.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT. 9.12.1 School bus drivers are required to have a valid Special Driving Certificate and to take refresher courses as often as necessary to keep credentials valid. The District shall pay for a physical every two years for medical certificate renewal.
