Common use of Special Schools Clause in Contracts

Special Schools. In a designated community school or where special circumstances prevail in a school which primarily provides for the needs of handicapped and/or special edu- cation pupils, the parties to this Agreement may, upon receipt of a request submit- xxx jointly by the two committees appointed pursuant to Section 235 of The Education Act, 1995, approve a variation in the basis for determining the allowances payable to the principal, vice-principal or assistant principal of that school. Provided further that the protective provisions pursuant to Clause 4.6 of this Agreement shall not apply with respect to any variation approved by the parties to this Agreement.
