Special rule: Tinsmith. The employer shall designate a group leader when it employs, on the same job site, 7 employees practising the same trade, unless a higher level of management or supervision such as general xxxxxxx, superintendent or a representative designated by the employer is already present. At no time may a group leader perform duties normally performed by an employee, except for preparatory or minor work. An apprentice may not act as group leader.
