Special Handling. Contractor is required in writing to perform specific/special task to effect service that would not ordinarily occur in the normal serving of process. (i.e., County requests that service be affected on a certain day at a certain time.) A fee, if charged, would be a one-time additional fee and not an hourly rate. Special Handling. Costs for delivery of items requiring special handling may be charged to Authorized Users. Orders shall be received in accordance with § 2.15, Ordering. Special Delivery shall be expressed in number of calendar days required to make delivery after receipt of a Purchase Order. Delivery shall be the most economical method for the proper delivery of the product unless special instructions are stated on the order by the Authorized User. Authorized User must be informed of the additional cost prior to delivery and agree in writing to the additional charge. Shipping costs must be prepaid by the vendor and may be added to the invoice with a copy of the freight xxxx.

Provided, that if Boeing directs delivery of Spares to an F.O.B. point other than Seller's plant, Boeing shall reimburse Seller for shipping charges, including insurance, paid by Seller from the plant to the designated F.O.B. point. Special Handling. In some delivery locations there may be limited access to Customers’ buildings. The Contractor shall ensure compliance with all security requirements or other requirements maintained by the Customer (for example, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has specific security requirements). In instances where special handling is necessary, the Contractor shall notify the Customer at least two Business Days in advance of delivery so that necessary delivery arrangements can be made.
Special Handling. Vehicles impounded and placed on hold or as evidence or requiring special handling, such as fingerprinting, photographing, searching, etc., shall not be removed or inspected by anyone, unless authorized by the Sheriff or his designee. These vehicles shall be kept in a secure enclosure until released to their owners or other legal disposition is made. The towing company shall not allow anyone to photograph, examine, or remove articles from such an impounded vehicle without the express permission of the Sheriff or his designee, or as required by order of the court. Vehicles impounded by KCSO will be held by Contractor a maximum of thirty (30) days. Thereafter, KCSO will arrange for any vehicle remaining on a “hold” status to be moved to a different location provided Contractor has notified the Sheriff or designee 7 days prior to the end of the thirty day period from the date of the tow.

The Contractor and its representatives shall ensure compliance with all Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) security requirements, or other requirements maintained by the Customer. The Contractor shall notify the Customer at least two business days in advance of delivery so that necessary delivery arrangements can be made.
