  • Geological and archaeological finds It is expressly agreed that mining, geological or archaeological rights do not form part of this Agreement with the Contractor for the Works, and the Contractor hereby acknowledges that it shall not have any mining rights or interest in the underlying minerals, fossils, antiquities, structures or other remnants or things either of particular geological or archaeological interest and that such rights, interest and property on or under the Site shall vest in and belong to the Authority or the concerned Government Instrumentality. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent its workmen or any other person from removing or damaging such interest or property and shall inform the Authority forthwith of the discovery thereof and comply with such instructions as the concerned Government Instrumentality may reasonably give for the removal of such property. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that any reasonable expenses incurred by the Contractor hereunder shall be reimbursed by the Authority. It is also agreed that the Authority shall procure that the instructions hereunder are issued by the concerned Government Instrumentality within a reasonable period.

  • Pets and Animals Except for service animals as defined in law, Resident shall maintain no pets or animals (including mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, rodents and insects) upon the premises, nor allow visitors or guests to do so, other than: (Pets’ Name).   • Criminal History Applicants who have criminal convictions may be denied. Any crimes associated with drugs, violence, sex, property damage, and/or weapons may be grounds for automatic disqualification. Eligibility is dependent upon the level, disposition, and time since the crime occurred. Open cases for similar crimes may be grounds for denial. Credit. A credit check will be performed, and the following may be grounds for denial: past due or dishonored debt, the absence of a credit history, unpaid housing accounts, unpaid utility accounts.

  • Background and/or Criminal History Investigation Prior to commencement of any services, background and/or criminal history investigation of the Vendor’s employees and subcontractors who will be providing services to the Customer under the Contract may be performed by the Customer. Should any employee or subcontractor of the Vendor who will be providing services to the Customer under the Contract not be acceptable to the Customer as a result of the background and/or criminal history check, then Customer may immediately terminate its Purchase Order and related Service Agreement or request replacement of the employee or subcontractor in question.

  • PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The personal life of a teacher is not within the appropriate concern or attention of the Board except as it may directly affect the efficient performance of assigned functions during the workday.
