Social Security Discrepancies. Suppose the employer receives notice from the SSA that one or more of the employee names and Social Security numbers (“SSN”) that the employer reported on the Wage and Tax Statements (Forms W-2) for the previous tax year do not agree with the SSA’s records. In that case, to the extent permitted by law, the Employer will provide a copy of the notice to the employee and the Union upon receipt.
