Site Induction. A.4.1. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all contractor and sub contractor staff are made aware of the Site Requirements before commencing work.
Site Induction. In conjunction with the new employee induction process applying at the company’s premises, elected site delegates shall be permitted up to 30 minutes for the purpose of discussing union membership with such new employees. The following obligations shall apply in respect of this provision:
Site Induction. Everyone working on site will go through a health and safety induction process before they are allowed to commence work on site. This induction training will concentrate on site specific health and safety factors and will be given by appropriate personnel nominated by the employer.
Site Induction. The Employer performs a Safety and Environmental induction on site. This will be arranged prior to commencement of the work. Health, safety and the environment File submission: The Contractor is expected to ensure that adequate time is allocated for the approval of their Health, Safety and Environmental File. This compulsory document must be prepared before an appointment with the Health & Safety Officer is made. The Health & Safety Officer will, upon receipt of this document, and after three working days, approve or reject the submission. No work shall start before the approval of the Health, Safety & Environmental File. Should the Contractor fail to rectify the shortcomings as outlined by the Health & Safety Officer, then Section 3.1.2 will apply. The Health, Safety and Environmental File must contain (as a minimum) the following content, certified by true copies and affidavits as applicable for the works required:

  • Induction The Employer shall provide a copy of this agreement to newly hired employees within the first thirty (30) days of employment and shall introduce newly hired employees to a Union Shop Xxxxxxx in the workplace. The Shop Xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, to talk to the new employee. The new employee and the Shop Xxxxxxx will not have wages or benefits deducted during this time.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.

  • System Impact Study An assessment by the Transmission Provider of (i) the adequacy of the Transmission System to accommodate a Completed Application, an Interconnection Request or an Upgrade Request, (ii) whether any additional costs may be incurred in order to provide such transmission service or to accommodate an Interconnection Request, and (iii) with respect to an Interconnection Request, an estimated date that an Interconnection Customer’s Customer Facility can be interconnected with the Transmission System and an estimate of the Interconnection Customer’s cost responsibility for the interconnection; and (iv) with respect to an Upgrade Request, the estimated cost of the requested system upgrades or expansion, or of the cost of the system upgrades or expansion, necessary to provide the requested incremental rights.

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.

  • Project Management Plan 1 3.4.1 Developer is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control 2 activities necessary to manage the Work, including the Utility Adjustment Work.
