Single Vacation Days. The parties agree to the scheduling of single vacation days based on the following:
Single Vacation Days. An employee shall be entitled to take up to five (5) vacation days as single days. Employees must find their own replacement when requesting a single vacation day on a weekend to work. It is agreed that any overpayments of vacation time shall be repaid to the Employer by a mutually agreed upon schedule. If a permanent part-time employee or part-time employee elects to take a single vacation day during a scheduling period they will be required to fulfil all other availability requirements for that period.
Single Vacation Days. (g) No changes shall be allowed in the schedule except upon consent of the employees affected and the Employer.
Single Vacation Days. (full-time only) The Hospital shall grant full-time nurses the utilization of single vacation days or a combination of days up to a maximum of seven (7) per year provided that they are requested in writing by the nurse at least four (4) weeks in advance and providing that they are scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Hospital will give consideration to requests for single day vacation when less than four (4) weeks' advance notice is given.
Single Vacation Days. Employees may request to draw from their vacation entitlement individual single vacation days. Such request must be presented to the employees respective Department Supervisor or designate one (1) week prior to the posting of the schedule and shall not be unreasonably denied.
Single Vacation Days. (i) For the purposes of requesting vacation time off during the summer, the summer period shall be defined as May 15th to September 15th each year.
Single Vacation Days. Beginning with the vacation year starting January 1, 1991, employees who are eligible to receive two (2) or more weeks of vacation during the vacation year may designate one week (5 eight hour work days or four (4) ten hour work days) which the employee will use as individual days of vacation during the year. Operators will receive the daily equivalent of their regular run pay for each vacation day. The specific vacation day or days taken by the employee during the vacation year will be subject to prior approval; Operators must request individual vacation days prior to the posting of the Extra Board on the day preceding the requested vacation day. If, by October 1 of each calendar year, the employee has not taken or scheduled all five (5) vacation days or any remaining days or hours of vacation as a result of the ten (10) hour four (4) day work week, he/she will be required to schedule the remaining days of vacation to be taken, subject to management approval, before the end of the vacation year. Maintenance employees may use the single vacation days referred to above in ½ (half) day increments, subject to the same approvals.
Single Vacation Days. (a) Operational requirements permitting, Regular Full-Time Employees may schedule up to one (1) week of their annual vacation entitlement as single vacation days off, subject to the following:
Single Vacation Days. Over the course of this agreement the Company and the Union agree to a trial period for using single vacation days in accordance with the following: Commencing for the vacation sign up, employees must declare their intention to use one-week of vacation entitlement as single vacation days at the annual vacation sign up. For the entitlement year, employees will declare the use of one-week vacation entitlement as single vacation days on a seniority basis up to the yearly maximum as outlined in the allotment groups. In subsequent years, the use of single vacation days will be offered to the next most senior employees in each identified allotment group (Central Parkway Operators; Malton Operators; Maintenance all and Subway Cashiers) up to the yearly maximums, who have not been offered the use of single vacation days in the previous selection year. In each vacation year, this rotation continues down the seniority list for each allotment group beginning with the next most senior employees.
