Single assessment. In determining the assessment approach for a proposed action, the assessment approach for a proposed action that will be chosen will allow the Commonwealth Minister to have sufficient Information to make an informed decision whether or not to approve the proposed action and, if so, under what conditions. To ensure that a single NT assessment can be relied on by the Commonwealth Minister for a decision under Part 9 of the EPBC Act, the Assessment Report will include: a description of: the action; the places affected by the action; and any Matters of NES that are likely to be affected by the action; a separate chapter or part dealing with all relevant impacts on Matters of NES. The nature and extent of likely impacts must be explicitly assessed for each Matter of NES, being, as relevant: the world heritage values of a declared World Heritage property; the National Heritage values of a National Heritage place; the ecological character of a declared Ramsar wetland; listed threatened species (except a conservation dependent species) or their habitat, or any listed threatened ecological communities; the members of a listed migratory species or their habitat; the environment, in relation to nuclear actions; a water resource, in relation to coal seam gas or large coal mining developments; the environment in the Commonwealth marine area (for actions outside the Commonwealth marine area that may impact the environment in the Commonwealth marine area); and Commonwealth land (for actions outside Commonwealth land that may impact on the environment on Commonwealth land). a description of feasible mitigation measures, changes to the action or procedures to prevent or minimise environmental impacts on each relevant Matter of NES proposed by the proponent or suggested in public submissions; to the extent practicable, a description of any feasible alternatives to the action that have been identified through the assessment process, and their likely impact on each Matter of NES; a statement of recommended conditions for approval of the action that may be imposed to address identified impacts on Matters of NES, including consideration of any offsets; where feasible, a statement of NT approval requirements and conditions that may be recommended to apply, to the action when the report is prepared, including a description of the monitoring, approvals and review procedures that may be recommended to apply, to the action; and the Information and opinion on which the assessment is ...

Single assessment. In determining the assessment approach for a proposed action, WA will decide on a form of assessment that will allow the Commonwealth Minister to have sufficient Information to make an informed decision whether or not to approve the proposed action and, if so, under what conditions. WA may seek advice on relevant matters from Commonwealth agencies with relevant expertise.

  • Needs Assessment 1. The Contractor shall conduct a cultural and linguistic group-needs assessment of the eligible client population in the Contractor’s service area to assess the language needs of the population and determine what reasonable steps are necessary to ensure meaningful access to services and activities to eligible individuals. [22 CCR 98310, 98314] The group-needs assessment shall take into account the following four (4) factors:

  • Impact Assessment If Service Provider desires to make any change, upgrade, replacement or addition that may have an adverse impact or require changes as described in Section 9.6(c) or increase the risk of Service Provider not being able to provide the Services in accordance with this Agreement or violate or be inconsistent with DIR Standards or Strategic Plans, then Service Provider shall prepare a written risk assessment and mitigation plan (1) describing in detail the nature and extent of such adverse impact or risk, (2) describing any benefits, savings or risks to DIR or the DIR Customers associated with such change, and (3) proposing strategies to mitigate any adverse risks or impacts associated with such change and, after consultation and agreement with DIR, implement the plan.

  • Phase II A small portion of the work for the Phase II modifications to the Plattsburgh Substation will be performed by Transmission Owner, and the remainder will be performed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. A detailed definition of the specific scope for Transmission Owner and Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx including interface points shall be defined during the design phase and, as such documents become available, copies will be delivered to the NYISO, Transmission Owner, Noble Altona Windpark, LLC and Marble River, LLC. The full scope includes the installation of wave traps, CCVT’s and modifications and/or additions to relaying on the MWP-1 and MWP- 2 lines. These lines will be reconfigured at the completion of Phase II to connect to Xxxxx and Xxxxxxx Substations on MWP-1 and the Xxxx Substation on MWP-2. Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will design the upgrades and purchase the materials based on the outline specification that was prepared and issued by Transmission Owner. The work to be performed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will include both the materials for the exterior and interior installations and items for Transmission Owner installation inside the control building in existing relay panels and communication racks. In addition, Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will be responsible for the exterior and interior construction work and will provide construction management services in coordination with Transmission Owner. The civil design for the foundations and the electrical design for the cable runs to the control room will be designed by, as approved by Transmission Owner, and installed under the supervision and control of Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. The equipment will be selected and procured in accordance with the specifications developed during the detailed engineering phase, copies of which shall be furnished to the NYISO, Transmission Owner, Noble Altona Windpark, LLC and Marble River, LLC. The construction of the foundations, structures, wave traps, CCTV and cable runs into the control building to the termination cabinets will be completed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. The work at the Plattsburgh Substation will be installed under Transmission Owner’s CPP-1. Transmission Owner will provide Protection and Controls Engineering, install and terminate wiring from the termination cabinets to the control panels and relays, install relays and equipment in the existing panels, and will commission such work inside the 230kV control building. Transmission Owner will develop the communications protocols and data flow over the circuits.

  • PROPERTY ASSESSMENT The Buyer and Seller hereby acknowledge that the Province of Ontario has implemented current value assessment and properties may be re-assessed on an annual basis. The Buyer and Seller agree that no claim will be made against the Buyer or Seller, or any Brokerage, Broker or Salesperson, for any changes in property tax as a result of a re-assessment of the property, save and except any property taxes that accrued prior to the completion of this transaction.

  • Formative Assessment The process used to assess progress towards attaining goals set forth in Educator plans, performance on standards, or both. This process may take place at any time(s) during the cycle of evaluation, but typically takes place at mid-cycle.
