Signing Contracts. A contract for teachers recommended for renewal shall be prepared as soon as possible after the conclusion of negotiations. Contracts shall be handed to those teachers on duty and mailed to the remainder to be returned within a reasonable time. Should professional negotiations fail, teachers have fifteen (15) days in which to resign or return signed contracts after final action is taken by the board to terminate the negotiating process. In the event contracts are prepared when school is not in session, teachers shall first be notified by telephone that contracts are ready for signatures at the School District Office. Those who cannot be contacted in three days and those who request their contracts be mailed shall receive them via certified mail. After signing by the teacher, the contract shall be signed by the Board President and one copy then returned to the teacher.

All other contracts and documents binding the Company shall require only one signature, either of the Chairman of the Board or Vice-Chairman of the Board or such other individual(s) as may be authorized by the Board.
