SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT. TRANSITIONAL WORK PROGRAM COMMITTEE VTA and the Union are committed to the safety and health of its employees. Occasionally, after an occupational injury or illness, employees are unable to immediately return to all of their former job duties. However, many employees will often be able to fulfill some duties and responsibilities before they are capable of assuming all their former duties. It is to the mutual benefit of VTA, the Union and the employee to return the employee to employment following an occupational injury or illness. In order to facilitate a safe and expeditious return to full employment, the VTA and the Union will establish a transitional work program committee to set up “transitional return-to-work” procedures and a “transitional return-to-work” program. These procedures should allow affected employees to progressively assume their full and former job duties as their health improves or find another job within their limitations. This committee shall be established by February 27, 2004. No employee shall be dropped from employment as a result of reduction in leave of absence in Part A, Section 14 until the “transitional return-to-work” program has been implemented.
SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT. MARIN COUNTY AND THE MARIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT FIREFIGHTERS’ ASSOCIATION PMR Revisions The County is updating its Personnel Management Regulations. The County agrees to meet and confer on any mandatory subjects of bargaining. While we will provide the Association with all of the proposed changes for the purposes of seeking input on the clarity of the document, the County does not consent to bargain non-mandatory subjects. In the interest of facilitating expeditious MOU negotiations, the County is proposing that these PMR updates be negotiated/discussed in a separate process, focusing only on PMR’s. The parties agree that appropriate release time will be provided to representatives to attend the consultation and meet and confer sessions. SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT MARIN COUNTY AND THE MARIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT FIREFIGHTERS’ ASSOCIATION Fire Dispatch The County shall provide a minimum of at least one year of notice to the Association if a decision is made to transfer fire dispatch services. This agreement does not preclude the County from providing training and cross-training to Fire Dispatchers following such notification but prior to the transfer of the services. This Side Letter shall expire upon the termination of this MOU. SIDE LETTER OF AGREEMENT MARIN COUNTY AND THE MARIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT FIREFIGHTERS’ ASSOCIATION Reopener on Affordable Care Act (ACA) The parties agree to a re-opener on the ACA during the term of the Collective Bargaining Agreements if any of the health plans now provided to employees or retirees will be subject to the excise tax. The purpose of the re-opener will be to address, among other things, implementing new plans or changes in plan design that would help the County and employees avoid the excise tax or penalty related to plan design. The intent is not to increase the County contribution to offset the excise tax for employees. The parties also agree that if the level of benefits the ACA mandates be provided to temporary employees and part-time (less than half-time) employees or if the number of hours an employee must work to be eligible for benefits under the ACA changes, the union or the County may re- open the contrac...

SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT. Appreciation Bonus: This agreement is between the Santa Xxxxx Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), and the Transportation Authority Engineers and Architects Association, Local 21 (TAEA). This Agreement (Agreement) between the parties clarifies the eligibility requirements for each TAEA Local 21 Employee to be issued a One-Time Appreciation Bonus in accordance with the tentative agreement signed by the parties on March 31, 2022.

SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT. 1. The Public Defender will designate three existing full-time (i.e. 40-hours per week) positions as outlined in this section. If utilized, each of the three (3) positions will be shared by two (2) employees of the same classification with each participant scheduled to work half-time (20-hours per week) . Employees who currently supervise staff, as determined by the Public Defender, are excluded from participation in the Job Share Program. The basic schedules for employees in a job share will be, for the first employee, three days of eight (8) hours of work per day in the first workweek of the pay period a-00 followed by two days of eight (8) hours of work per day in the second workweek of the pay period. For the second employee , it shall be two (2) days of eight (8) hours of work per day in the first workweek of the pay period followed by three (3) days of eight (8) hours of work per day in the second workweek of the pay period.
