Sick Plan. (a) After six (6) completed calendar months' service, Regular Full-Time Employees and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be granted sick leave with pay on the basis of one and two-thirds (1 2/3) days per month, cumulative to a maximum of two hundred and sixty-one (261) days, retroactive to the first completed calendar month of employment. NOTE: The maximum cap of two hundred sixty- one (261) days will be removed for those Regular Full-Time Employees who have reached the cap of two hundred sixty-one (261) days AND who have achieved twenty (20) calendar years of service.

Sick Plan. Employees shall be allowed an accumulative sick leave credit of one and one-half days per month. On severance for any reason, except on discharge for cause, after six (6) years of coverage under this plan, any unused credit in this sick leave allowance shall be paid for in cash for one-half the number of days standing to an employee‘s credit at the rate of pay of the employee immediately prior to the severance and any event, not in excess of one hundred and thirty (130) days. At the request, the cash payment on severance may be held over to the next taxation year or any other future year within three (3) years of termination. The Corporation reserves the right to ascertain the validity of sick pay claims or other absences for illness. Therefore, on request from the Corporation in advance, employees may be required to produce a certificate €or any absence for illness, or may be required to submit to an examination by a doctor of the Corporation’s choosing. ARTICLE INJURY employee who is injured while at work and as a result of such injury is certified as unfit to complete the working day or shift, shall receive pay at regular rate for time lost on the day that such injury is sustained.
Sick Plan. The dent of and Treasurer of Board shall have power to do and perform all things necessary for the conduct of the sick leave plan, including the power to allow or disallow any sick leave credit or deductions therefrom under the system, and including the requirement to have an employee submit to a medical examination by a Doctor designated by the Board. The Superintendent of and Treasurer keep, or cause to be kept, a record in which shall be entered the credits and deductions therefrom. employees covered by this Collective Agreement eligible for the benefits under this plan for the period of continuousservice subsequent to appointment. Any employee whose period of service has been broken by resignation and who subsequently is re- employed shall benefit only from the date of re-employment on the regular staff. Credits As of September each eligible full-time employee shall entitled to eighteen (18) days for a year of employment (September to 30) with the Board. Employees hired after 1st or leaving the employ of the Board before June shall be credited with a proportion thereof. Unused days at June shall be allowed to accumulate to a maximum total of two (200) days. A day of sick leave with pay is the number of hours for day equal to the number of hours worked for the part of the year.
Sick Plan. The Sick Leave Plan, attached as Appendix to this Agreement, is adopted by the Association and the Employer and is deemed to be part of this Agreement.
Sick Plan. The benefits provided by this Plan are not vested in the employee and may be varied as to any employee for cause by resolution of the Employer, except for sums received by the Employer pursuant to Section hereof. In calculating or wages for days of sick leave to the credit of any employee, five (5) days' sick leave shall represent the equivalent of one week of employment.

Sick Plan. Each full time Employee shall be entitled to fifty-six (56) hours (effective January 1, 2010, increase to sixty (60) hours) sick pay per contract year. (Jan 1 to Dec 31). Unused sick leave shall be cashed out at the rate of one hundred percent (100%) annually. This is a pro-rated benefit.

  • Sick Leave Plan The benefits of the Company’s Sick Leave Plan shall be considered as part of this Agreement. However, it is recognized that its provisions are not an automatic right of an employee and the administration of this plan and all decisions regarding the appropriateness or degree of its application shall be vested solely in the Company. The Company’s Sick Leave Plan will provide that probationary and regular employees will commence with a credit of eight days at 100 percent (100%) and 15 days at 75 percent (75%) pay, payable from the first day of sickness. This credit will continue to be available until the employee attains his/her first annual accumulation date as a regular employee. At the time of this accumulation date and each subsequent accumulation date he/she will acquire additional credits of eight days at 100 percent (100%) pay and 15 days at 75 percent (75%) pay. The accumulation of credits will be subject to the provisions of the Company’s Sick Leave Plan. Regular part-time employees shall receive a pro-rated number of sick days. When a regular part-time employee is absent due to illness on a scheduled day of work, they shall be paid for the hours of work scheduled for that day provided sick leave credits are available. Normally employees will be expected to arrange routine medical or dental appointments during non-working hours. Where such appointments cannot be arranged during non-working hours and the employee can be released from his/her duties, then the time shall be charged against an employee's sick leave time except in the case of medical appointments of less than half a day where normal earnings will be maintained. Employees who are on sick leave for 30 days or more may be eligible to participate in a vocational rehabilitation program in accordance with the Company’s policy. All major medical absence forms will be completed for any absence of four (4) continuous days/shifts or more or when requested by management. The Company will compensate the employee for the cost associated with completing these forms up to a maximum of $30.00. Additionally, the company will compensate the employee for the full cost of all medical notes, medical forms or medical information required to support LTD or other Wellness programs. This provision applies to Doctor’s notes requested by Line Management as part of the administration of the sick leave plan. Employees will be required to submit all forms required by management through their personal physician. Sick Leave benefits are conditional upon receipt of these forms and it is the responsibility of the employee to ensure that the employer receives these forms within a reasonable period of time. Any discipline related to sick leave that is imposed and grieved by the union will be referred directly to Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx for resolution.

  • SICK LEAVE PROGRAM An employee may be eligible to receive donations of paid leave to be included in the employee's sick leave balance if s/he has suffered a catastrophic illness or injury which prevents the employee from being able to work or from being able to work his/her regularly scheduled number of hours. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition considered to be terminal, or a long-term major physical impairment or disability.

  • VACATION PLAN 2 All employees in the bargaining unit shall earn paid vacation time 3 under this Article. Vacation benefits are earned on a fiscal year 4 basis--July 1 to June 30.

  • 401K Plan The Company presently offers its employees a 401k plan with a Company match to be determined annually by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. You may elect to contribute pre-tax deferrals through payroll deduction pursuant to the terms of the 401k plan.

The LMC will be to develop consistent, transparent and equitable proposals for processes across all departments within the City. The LMC shall also explore proposals to lower the minimum leave bank required to donate sick leave and permit donation of sick leave upon separation from the City. The LMC must consult with the Office of Civil Rights to ensure compliance with the City’s Race and Social Justice Initiative. Once the LMC has developed its list of proposals, the City and Coalition of City Unions agrees to reopen each contract on this subject.

  • Sick Leave Benefit Plan The Sick Leave Benefit Plan will provide sick leave days and short term disability days for reasons of personal illness, personal injury, including personal medical appointments and personal dental appointments.

  • Sick Leave Policy It is the policy of the State of Ohio to not unreasonably deny sick leave to employees when requested. It is also the policy of the State to take corrective action for unauthorized use of sick leave and/or abuse of sick leave. It is further the policy of the State that when corrective and/or disciplinary action is taken, it will be applied progressively and consistently. It is the desire of the State of Ohio that when discipline is applied it will serve the purpose of correcting the performance of the employee.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The Board shall make available to eligible employees and their eligible family members, at no cost, an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Employee participation in and/or referral to the EAP shall be voluntary and confidential, except as to any disclosures required by applicable state law. All personal treatment records generated as a result of an eligible individual’s utilization of the EAP shall be maintained by the service provider and shall not be shared with the Board unless otherwise authorized by the eligible employee or the covered dependent, or by operation of applicable law. The contact person for the EAP services to be made available under this Agreement shall not be employed by the Board of Education.
