Common use of Sick Leave Plan Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Plan. (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, "sick leave" means the period of time a full time employee is permitted to be absent from work with pay by virtue of being sick, quarantined or disabled, or because of an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.

Sick Leave Plan. An employee may be required to produce a certificate or certificates from a qualified Medical Practitioner for any such absence, certifying the reason for such absence and Insurance Actthat the employee is unable to report for work.
