Sick Leave Hours. An employee may donate a portion of his or her accrued sick leave to 4 another leave eligible employee provided the donating employee’s sick leave balance will be 100 5 hours or more following the donation. Sick Leave Hours. Paid sick leave is a benefit provided by the City for the use by the employee during a period of illness, sickness or medical treatment of the employee that prevent the employees from performing their assigned duties and for purposes identified in this section dealing with sick leave. It is the responsibility of supervisors and management personnel to verify that sick leave is appropriately utilized. Failure of the employee to cooperate completely in any investigation initiated by management regarding sick leave requested by the employee shall result in the denial of paid leave and possible disciplinary action. Abuse of this benefit will result in disciplinary action including possible dismissal.
Sick Leave Hours. Any employee may donate a portion of his or her accrued sick leave to a full-time or part-time employee of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office who has completed at least six (6) months of service, upon written request to and approval of the donating and receiving employees' Division Chief and the Human Resources Office.
