Sick Leave Exchange. Any permanent employee may exchange accrued sick leave for pay or for additional leave time as appropriate, in accordance with the options provided the employee, subject to the following provisions:

Sick Leave Exchange. In addition to the five days of personal leave, a teacher who ends the previous school year with at least 149 days (1043 hours) of avail- able sick leave may, upon written request to the District, exchange a maximum of six days of that year’s sick leave grant for one additional day of personal leave. After this exchange, one additional personal leave day may be granted for the ex- change of one sick leave day which increases the aggregate total of available per- xxxxx leave days to seven in any school year.
Sick Leave Exchange. The Board of Education has established a leave sharing program for all certified teachers. The program shall permit district employees to donate or receive sick leave. Sick leave may be donated to and/or received by employees within Muskogee Public Schools. The recipient must be pregnant or recovering from, or who is suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that has caused or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or to terminate employment.
