Sick Leave Donation. In accord with state law and Medical Center policy, RN’s may donate sick leave to any employee entitled to receive such donations.
Sick Leave Donation a. If a member of the bargaining unit is currently absent due to a serious or long-term illness or accident of the bargaining unit member, spouse, or minor child, and such member has exhausted all of his/her accumulated sick leave and all other forms of leave, bargaining unit members may donate up to five (5) days of accumulated sick leave to the absent employee.
Sick Leave Donation. Any district employee may donate up to two (2) days of his/ her personal accumulated sick leave days or personal leave days per year to any other employee who has exhausted his/her accumulated days. This leave will be for serious personal illness or accident. An employee may donate to as many individual(s) as he /she wishes, as long as the recipient meets the qualifications of this provision.
Sick Leave Donation. Members of the bargaining unit are authorized to donate accrued sick leave to a person who is a school board employee. The recipient may not use the donated sick leave until all of his/her sick and annual leave has been depleted. The donated sick leave has no terminal pay value for any recipient. The provision shall not apply to paid or unpaid leave available in accordance with any sick leave pool, nor to any other form of leave. (Ratified 9/2013)
Sick Leave Donation. 45.10.1 If an employee suffers a prolonged illness and uses up all of his or her sick leave credits, other employees may voluntarily donate a specific number of days from their accumulated sick leave credits for use by the ill employee.
Sick Leave Donation. Any employee whose sick leave accumulation is forty-one (41) days or more may relinquish no more than one (1) sick day to a single employee annually whose sick leave has been exhausted. Any employee may donate a maximum of two (2) days per year. This donation may only occur if the employee with depleted sick leave is seriously ill or seriously injured and only after the seriously ill or seriously injured employee has been subject to a wage deduction for a minimum of seven (7) workdays. Should employees desire to donate, a written letter shall be submitted to the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee by the union president requesting a meeting to review all aspects of the request. A committee consisting of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee and the union president shall meet to review the merits of the request.
Sick Leave Donation. Employees will be allowed to donate up to five (5) sick days each contract year to employees who have exhausted their sick leave. Only members in excess of 15 accumulated sick days will be allowed to donate days. Donated days received per employee are capped at twenty days per contract year. If a member requests and receives more than the allotted twenty days, days will be deducted from donating members on a first received, first taken system.
Sick Leave Donation. The Sick Leave Donation Policy agreed to by the parties in a Letter of Agreement dated May 19, 2010 shall remain in effect for the duration of this agreement.
Sick Leave Donation a) If an employee is in danger of having used all accrued time (vacation, sick, etc.) due to a serious illness or injury, as defined by the FMLA, Officers may voluntarily donate up to forty (40) hours of vacation or sick leave to the ill or injured employee to avoid loss of pay. No Officer shall be permitted to bank more than four hundred (400) hours of such donated leave within any twelve (12) month period of time. Donated leave may only be used for the employee to whom donated. In the event that all of the donated leave time is not used, the City shall not be obligated to make any redistribution of banked hours to the donors. The remaining unused donated amount shall not be paid on separation.
Sick Leave Donation. 8.3.1 An employee may donate days of sick leave to individual District employees who, due to a serious health condition, have exhausted all accumulated sick leave. Donating employees must retain a sixty (60) day balance of sick leave after their donation. No employee may receive more than forty (40) days of donated leave per year.
