Sick Leave Defined - Schedule. B" Employees Employees employed in classifications within Schedule "B", on being incapacitated for work through illness shall during the term of this Agreement receive full pay during such illness subject to the limitations and provisions as hereinafter provided. For the purpose of the foregoing, "sick leave" shall mean the period of time an employee is absent from work with full pay by virtue of being sick or disabled, exposed to a contagious disease requiring quarantining, or while attending examination or treatment by a physician, chiropractor, or dentist, or because of an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.

  • Sick Leave Defined Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is permitted to be absent from work with full pay by virtue of being sick or disabled, exposed to contagious disease, or because of an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Workers' Compensation Act.
