Common use of Sick Leave Bonus Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Bonus. A twelve (12) month employee in active pay status for the entire program year who used no more than four (4) sick leave days during the program year will receive a two hundred dollar ($200) bonus. A nine (9) month employee in active pay status for the entire program year who used no more than three (3) sick leave days during the program year will receive a two hundred dollar ($200) bonus. The bonus will be paid in the first pay of December at the rate in effect for the prior program year.

The bonus will be paid in the first pay in December of December the successive program year, or in the case of a separation from service at the end of a program year, in the final pay, as applicable, and will be paid at the rate in effect for the prior program year.
