Sick Leave Balance. Once each academic year, each faculty member shall receive from the Employer a statement of the faculty member’s balance of unused sick leave accumulations. The Employer’s obligation can be satisfied by providing an electronic means of accessing the faculty member’s current sick leave balance.

Sick Leave Balance. To be eligible to convert accrued sick leave hours, employees must have a sick leave balance of at least forty (40) days on September 1st of the year of conversion. • Employees must enroll annually to participate in the Career Transition Trust. The Benefits Department will annually announce the election process and the forms will be available online in the middle of October. All employees must submit their election to the Employee Benefits Department no later than the middle of December. If the employee’s sick leave hours drop below the eligibility minimum of forty (40) days, the employee’s participation is suspended until the employee reaches the minimum of forty (40) days required for eligibility and participation.
Sick Leave Balance. Each Member’s bi-weekly electronic pay stub shall indicate the year-to-date balance remaining in their 11-day sick leave plan as of the end of the pay period noted. Each Member may review their usage of sick leave electronically.

If there is a class member who is a King County Employee who was formerly paid by one of the following firms, that class member’s sick leave shall be reduced by three (3) days annually or the lesser of the number of sick leave days shown in the class database as actually paid by the firm(s): Analysts In- ternational, Aris Corporation, Ciber, Inc., Xxxxx Consulting Services, Metamore/Comsys, Nortec, Inc., Premier Systems Group, Inc., Romac, Softsquare International, and salaried (but not hourly- paid) individuals at Ajilon Corporation and Best Consulting; see ¶5. The class member’s net sick leave balance shall be reduced by one-third; and King County shall pay the value of this one-third to class counsel’s attorney fee award. See Part IX, infra. The value shall be determined based on the class members’ hourly rate of pay after the pay adjustment is made (see ¶35, infra), multiplied by the number of sick leave hours accrued during class member service when the class members were paid through an agency or paid as an “independent contractor.”
