Sick Leave and Personal Leave Days. Up to thirty (30) days of sick leave will be accepted by Employer as transfer sick leave brought from another Oklahoma public schools district. Employee shall have one day of sick leave at the time of employment and shall be entitled to accrue additional days of sick leave over time at an equivalent of one day per month of contract employment up to a maximum of ten (10) days per school year. A maximum of fifty (50) earned but unused sick and/or personal leave days may be accrued and carried over to subsequent school years for Employee’s appropriate use. Additionally, earned but unused sick leave will be calculated for the following purposes:

Sick Leave and Personal Leave Days. 8.1. Regular employees earn sick leave benefits, which are credited to a "sick leave bank" at the rate of .0444 times each hour worked, up to a maximum of thirty (30) days (240 hours). Employees begin earning sick leave bank credits the first day of the calendar month following completion of their ninety (90) day probationary period; however, employees will not be eligible to receive paid sick leave until after their first anniversary date of employment.
Sick Leave and Personal Leave Days. All employees on the seniority list before April 1, 2008 shall be eligible for one (1) personal leave day per contract year if worked five (5) days within the contract year. All employees on the seniority list prior to April 1, 1985 shall be eligible for two (2) personal leave days per contract year if worked five (5) days within the contract year. Part-time employees on the seniority list on the date of ratification of this Agreement and all full- time employees shall be entitled to five (5) days of sick leave.   • Sick Leave and Personal Leave The Administrator shall be granted paid sick leave, as defined in Section 24-6 of The School Code, of twelve (12) workdays per contract year accumulative to three hundred forty (340) days. The Administrator shall be granted three (3) paid personal leave days per contract year for personal business. Unused personal leave days shall be credited towards the Administrator’s accumulated sick leave.

  • Sick and Personal Leave The Assistant Principal shall annually be entitled to twelve (12) days of sick leave and two (2) days of personal leave. Unused personal leave days will accumulate as sick leave days. Earned sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. Every sick day that is issued for the current school year and eventually not utilized during that school year will be multiplied by 1.5 at the end of the school year (e.g., 10 unused sick days on June 30, 2022 will be converted in a credit of 15 sick days for the Assistant Principal’s use.) This unused sick day multiplier will not be in effect during the four (4) years prior to retirement.

  • Sick Leave/Personal Leave 1. Each member of the bargaining unit who is regular full-time, in an active pay status, is eligible for ten (10) days of sick leave and three (3) days of personal leave annually. No member of the bargaining unit shall lose the accumulated allowance of unused days of sick leave/personal leave by reason of having been absent for a period without pay, nor shall the employee accumulate any additional days of allowance during the absence. Faculty members needing to use sick/personal days shall fill out the requisite forms according to official College procedures.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Unpaid Personal Leave of Absence 1. Any employee may apply for an unpaid personal leave of absence for good and sufficient reason. Leave pursuant to this provision may be for a period not exceeding twelve (12) months in any fourteen (14) consecutive months. Such leave may be granted at the discretion of the appointing authority and shall not be unreasonably denied. Employees are encouraged to consult with their agency/department Personnel Officer to determine if they are eligible for benefits available under the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act. All requests for such leave and responses shall be in writing. The application for leave must specifically state the reasons for such application and the length of time requested. After completion of a period of personal leave of absence, the employee shall be entitled to return to the organizational unit, status and position held immediately prior to the beginning of the leave of absence. If the employee's position is abolished during any such leave, he/she shall be notified and allowed to exercise his/her rights under the Seniority Article of this Agreement.

  • Sick/Personal Leave Leave granted to the teacher for sick, personal or bereavement reasons.

  • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.

  • Paid Personal Leave A.
