Sick Leave and Personal Days. The Business Administrator/Board Secretary shall receive no less than twelve (12) sick days leave annually. The unused portion of sick days, at the end of any year, shall be cumulative in accordance with the provisions of Title 18A-30.7. The Business Administrator/Board Secretary is granted (3) personal days each year. If any personal days are unused at the end of the year, they shall convert to sick days for the following year.

Spouse's day of delivery for childbirth shall constitute such an emergency situation.
Sick Leave and Personal Days. A. PERSONAL ILLNESS 1. Ten days of absence for ten-month employees and twelve days for twelve-month employees will be allotted for personal illness. Part-time employees shall be granted absence with pay for illness on a pro-rata basis of number of days employed for the year as compared to full-time employees. Entitlement of sick days for all new employees shall be on a pro-rata basis according to their time of hire. Entitlement shall accrue upon first day of employment each year.

In the event any employee uses more than the number o f sick leave days earned in any one year, the excess shall be deducted from any days accumulated in the past but in no event shall an employee be paid for days in excess o f those to which he is entitled. In addition to himself, an employee shall be entitled to sick leave for the illness of a spouse, child, or parent.
