SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. 11-01 All members of the Service reporting off-duty of sickness or injury on duty shall be subject to the provisions of the City of Windsor By-Law Number 980 (Sick Leave) and amendments thereto except insofar as the said By-Law is varied by the terms of sub- sections 11-02 and 11-03 hereof.

SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. 13-01(a) Sick leave entitlement for members subject to Schedule ‘B’ and Schedule ‘C’ of this agreement shall be converted to hours, i.e. eighteen (18) days equals one hundred and forty- four (144) hours. (new 2003)
SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. 1) Sick leave shall be provided to the City employees in compliance with this Agreement.
SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. Subd. 1. All Food Service Employees shall earn sick time at the rate of one and a half (1.5) days for each month of service in the employ of the School District. Up to 48 hours of accrued sick time shall satisfy sick and safe time required by state statute. Sick time will not accumulate while an employee is on unpaid leave or is receiving income protection benefits and shall only accumulate when an employee is actually working or on the District payroll.
SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. 7.1 If the Employee cannot work because of sickness or incident, he/she shall advise the Employer of such sickness or incident as soon as possible after commencement of the sickness, specifying the expected duration and shall submit a medical certificate (sickness certificate).
SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. 12.1 Employees shall be entitled to an aggregate of four (4) single days, or part thereof, total sick leave each year without needing to produce a signed medical certificate, with the following exceptions:
SICK LEAVE ABSENCE. Any employee with seniority who is unable to work because of illness or injury and furnishes satisfactory evidence thereof, which if possible will indicate the anticipated length of absence, shall be granted a leave of absence while disabled. For absences in excess of three (3) consecutive working days, an employee’s return to work is conditional upon his supplying a certificate upon request from a physician stating that he has fully recovered from the injury or illness which caused his absence and is fit to return to work. Injury or illness - Upon recovery, the employee shall receive his former position or some other suitable position, if held by an employee with less seniority, provided that the recovered employee is capable of performing the job in a capable manner. If an employee is injured on the job or becomes so ill that he cannot complete his shift after reporting to work in good health, he will be sent home and paid for the balance of the shift.
