SICK LEAVE 16. 01 Employees shall be entitled to credits of two (2) working days of sick leave per month. The unused portion of sick leave may accumulate to two-hundred and forty (240) working days. The Employer will give the employee an accounting of sick leave upon request, and once annually will provide each employee with an up-to-date record of accumulation.

The Union and the City of Superior consider themselves mutually responsible to improve the public service through creation of improved employee morale and efficiency. In this connection, the parties shall encourage employees to conduct themselves on the job in a professional manner. The Union and the City pledge themselves to a concerted effort in order to be able to provide the citizens of Superior the highest quality of service possible.

SICK LEAVE 16. 1 All employees will accumulate one day of paid sick leave per month, prorated if part-time, to a total cumulative maximum of 130 days in the year 2000, 140 days in 2001, 150 days in 2002, 160 days in 2003, 170 days in 2004. Sick leave shall be used for personal illness, accident, including appointments with doctors and dentists and preventive health care visits.
