Sick Day Sample Clauses

Sick Day. (a) Each regular School Crossing Guard shall be entitled to five (5) days sick leave with pay each calendar year. Each alternate School Crossing Guard covering a steady post for forty (40) consecutive working days or more shall be entitled to one (1) sick day for every twenty (20) consecutive working days served after the initial forty (40) day period during the calendar year.

Sick Day. “Sick Day” means a day of paid sick leave calculated by multiplying hourly straight time wage times regular applicable scheduled hours (8, 10, 12 hours) plus any applicable shift premium, less any applicable legal deductions.
Sick Day. Full-time employees shall be eligible to use one (1) paid sick day during their first year of service, two (2) paid sick days a year after one (1) year of service, three (3) paid sick days a year after three (3) years of service, four (4) paid sick days a year after four (4) years of service, and five (5) paid sick days after five years of service. Should legislation be passed during the term of this Agreement that provides greater paid sick day benefits, the employees shall be entitled to them.
