Shuttle Bus Drivers. It shall be the duty of employees to report promptly in writing to the Company all defects in equipment. The Company will endeavour to have vehicles maintained in a safe operating condition in accordance with the’Department of Transport’s Regulations. The determination in respect to the condition of vehicles shall rest with a qualified mechanic. Company will not be required to tow or push vehicles. Circle The Company will provide the Circle Check forms for the drivers to out on each shift. Once completed, these forms will be kept in a safe place for reference in case of an accident inquiry or a facility audit by the of Transport. The drivers will do a circle check of the vehicle at the beginning of their shift and any time that they are required to change vehicles. This circle check is required by law and will be included as part of the scheduled and paid time.

Shuttle Bus Drivers. All of Operator’s Shuttle Bus drivers and shift supervisors shall be properly licensed, and shall possess satisfactory work qualifications and experience with respect to their areas of responsibility. Operator shall not employ as a driver of a Shuttle Bus under the Agreement any person who has a poor record for operating any motor vehicle, including a Shuttle Bus. For purposes of this section, a poor driving record means three (3) or more points as shown on the driver’s record as compiled by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State of California. A driver must also qualify for a commercial driving license under the rules and regulations promulgated by the United States Department of Transportation. Operator shall verify the employment history of any employee who will be assigned to duty in a restricted area of the Airport and ensure that all employees meet all related security requirements. This verification shall cover the ten-year period preceding the employee’s assignment to duty in a restricted area, and shall otherwise comply with all Laws. Operator shall maintain at all times a personnel file for each employee who shall include the verifications of employment referred to above and the employee’s driver’s license number and expiration date in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles “Pull Notice Program”. In addition, Operator shall maintain, at all times, a current employment roster of all employees of Operator and shall provide the Director with a current copy of such employment roster and copies of all such verifications at all times. Operator shall provide Director with driver names and driver’s license numbers within five (5) days prior to the Commencement Date.

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carriers The feeder portion of some loops may be provide by means of Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC). IDLC provides a fiber optic cable transmission path that travels directly into BellSouth’s central office local switch. Where BellSouth uses IDLC ,if technically feasible and capacity does exist, BST will provide Al-Call with a Designed DS0 UVL by using alternative provisioning techniques including but not limited to such as “hairpinning” and DAC grooming. Alternative provisioning techniques will be provided at no additional cost to Al-Call . Hairpinning involves providing a DS0 signal from an IDLC-served loop to Al-Call ’s collocation equipment by using a dedicated pathway that traverses BellSouth’s central office switch. BellSouth will provide such DS0 signal to Al-Call by establishing a copper cross connect between the BellSouth switch and Al-Call ’s collocation equipment.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where InterGlobe has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to InterGlobe. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for InterGlobe (e.g. hairpinning):

  • Dark Fiber Transport Dark Fiber Transport is defined as Dedicated Transport that consists of unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics. Except as set forth in Section 6.9.1 below, BellSouth shall not be required to provide access to Dark Fiber Transport Entrance Facilities pursuant to this Agreement.
