Common use of Show Up Time Clause in Contracts

Show Up Time. An employee who reports for work as scheduled without having been notified that there is no work available, and who is sent home because of lack of work, shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours’ pay at the prevailing hourly rate. It is the responsibility of the employee to provide a means by which the Employer can contact him/her.
