Common use of SHORT TIME Clause in Contracts

SHORT TIME. For the purpose of this clause, ―short time‖ means the implementation of reduced working time, i.e. fewer number of hours per day and/or fewer number of days per week, owing to a shortage of work and/or materials and any other justifiable contingencies and/ or unforeseen contingencies and/or circumstances beyond the control of the employer.
