Ships and Aircraft. 1 Profits from the operation of aircraft derived by a resident of one of the Contracting States shall be taxable only in that State. 2 Profits from the operation of ships derived by a resident of one of the Contracting States may be taxed in that Contracting State and may also be taxed in the other State, but the tax so charged in the other State shall be reduced by an amount equal to one half of the amount which would be payable in respect of those profits but for this paragraph.
