Shift Trades. Employees will have the right to trade Shifts and days off or to arrange for another Employee to work their Shift subject to Company approval and the following conditions:
Shift Trades. Employees may arrange for another employee to work their shift subject to management's approval, however, it is understood and agreed that there shall be no additional costs incurred by the Company as a result of the said shift trade.

Trades among Dispatcher I’s must be between persons of equal skill levels unless otherwise approved by the Director. All requests for shift trades will be posted on a list in the Operations Lieutenant or designee’s office by quarter, shift, classification and Section seniority. These initial requests for shift trades must be submitted within 10 days after the draft of the shift assignments has been posted. Trades that can be made will be completed and the final shift assignment schedule for the upcoming year will be posted. Thereafter, any additional trade requests submitted will be posted on the same list, in order of receipt, without regard to seniority.

Shift Trades. Employees may not trade shifts or days off except with the prior approval of their respective first-line managers and further provided that no overtime premium is involved.
Shift Trades. Employees shall notify the Supervisor in writing in advance of trading a shift(s). The shift(s) so traded must be between qualified employees who have the ability to perform the work. Deviation from the posted work schedule, which results from employees trading shifts with other qualified employees, shall not be subject to the overtime provisions. Each shift trade shall be completed within a forty-two (42) day period from the date of the first shift traded.
Shift Trades. Employees shall notify the supervisor in writing in advance of exchanging scheduled shifts or a minimum of three (3) consecutive hours between themselves. All exchanges of scheduled shifts or a minimum of three (3) consecutive hours must be with other qualified Employees. Deviation from the schedule that results from Employees exchanging shifts or a minimum of three (3) consecutive hours shall not be subject to overtime provisions. All such trades shall be completed within ninety (90) days from the date of the initial trade.
