Shift Switches. The Company agrees to provide a system for employees to switch shifts, providing two (2) employees are within the same job classification on different shifts at the time of the shift switch. Employees wishing to switch shifts will complete the appropriate form at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of the shift switch, exceptions may be made in cases of a bonafide emergency. All forms are to be submitted to the employee's direct Supervisor. All shift switches must have Management's written approval prior to commencing and if for any reason, either employee cannot satisfactorily perform the required work, the shift switch will be cancelled
Shift Switches. Employees may switch shifts, within a pay period, with the approval of the Jail Administrator or designee. Shift switch requests will be in writing. This Article shall have no effect on overtime. Once a shift switch is agreed to by both affected parties, the hours agreed to be covered shall be treated the same as the employee’s regularly scheduled work time.
Shift Switches. 114.02.01 Shift switches are subject to the following conditions: - application to switch shifts must be made 48 hours in advance of the switch, or prior to posting for the earliest date for the switch for Operators and must be signed by both employees . - application will be subject to the approval of the respective Department Manager or appointed representative . - switch shift requests can be requested for a single day up to/and including a maximum period of two weeks within the sign-up . - switches are not required to be completed within the same pay period commencing Sunday and ending Saturday if there is no premium cost to the Commission, there is no impact on minimum work assignment guarantees and no violation of the Employment Standards Act results . - switches will only be permitted on shifts within a work day or scheduled day off for scheduled day off . - employees will be paid for the shifts they actually work . - the Commission will not pay any additional premiums as a result of such switching . - shift switches will only be permitted on days where neither employee making the request is currently involved in a shift change with another employee on the same day . Employees will not be permitted a shift switch into “unsigned (future)” sign-up period . - employees may switch with another employee in the same classification, except as expressly agreed between the Parties .

Employees wishing to switch shifts must place their name on that form in order to be considered for the

The employees switching shifts must be able to satisfactorily perform the job of the employee with whom they switched. Employees wishing to switch shifts will complete the appropriate form at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of the shift switch, exceptions may be made in cases of a bona-fide emergency. Employees wishing to switch shifts must place their name on that form in order to be considered for the switch. The employee on the list with the most seniority will be chosen to switch. This shift switch shall not exceed three (3) months. All shift switches must have management’s written approval prior to commencing and if for any reason, either party cannot satisfactorily perform the required work, the shift switch will be cancelled. The switch is void if either party decides to return to their previous shift or is a successful applicant in a job posting, or if a layoff and recall occur, or if an employee on a switch goes off on long term Leave of Absence.

Employees wishing to switch shifts will complete the appropriate form at least (2) weeks prior to the date of the shift switch, exceptions may be made in cases of a bona-fide emergency. All forms are to be submitted to the employee's direct Supervisor and Human Resources with a copy to the plant chairperson, The form will be posted on the job posting board for a period of three days. Shift Switches. Any shift switches must be pre-approved and signed by all parties involved prior to the switch date. Without exception, all switches must occur within the same work week in order to avoid overtime. When an employee does not fulfill their portion of an approved switch, or any portion thereof, regardless of circumstances or medical verification, said employee will be banned from switches for the next 90 days.
