Common use of Severance Pay Clause in Contracts

Severance Pay. a. A teacher who has one or more years of employment with the District and who is terminated pursuant to this Article may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated pursuant to or dismissed for proper cause in accordance with this Article Agreement, and applicable legislation, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months two years of the date of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated laid off, save and except a teacher who is laid off or dismissed pursuant to this Article may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months Section 15 of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for Act, shall receive severance pay.

A teacher on continuing appointment who has one (1) or more years of employment continuous service with the District and who is terminated pursuant to laid off under this Article article, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months prior to the loss of termination. Teachers terminated their employment rights pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.Article

A teacher on continuing appointment in this District who has one or more years of employment with the District and who is laid off, save and except a teacher who is terminated pursuant to this Article or dismissed for just cause, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve two (122) months years following the date of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance paylayoff.

A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated or dismissed pursuant to Section 15 of the School Act or Article C.22 (Dismissal for Teaching Performance) of this Article Agreement, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within during the twelve (12) months of following termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated or dismissed pursuant to this Article Section 15 and Section 92(3) of the School Act, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve the first twenty (1220) months of termination. Teachers terminated calendar months, before the teacher's right to re-engagement pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance payArticle C.21.5 is lost.

A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated pursuant to save and except a teacher who is terminated or dismissed for proper cause in accordance with this Article Agreement, the School Act or Regulations, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve eighteen (1218) months of the date of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher who has one or more years of employment with the District is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated under or dismissed pursuant to this Section 92 of the School Act or pursuant to Article C.21 Suspension/Dismissal/Discipline, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles as set out in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance payArticle C.23.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher who has on a contract with one (1) or more years of employment with the District and continuous employment, who is terminated pursuant to laid off under provisions of this Article Article, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve (12) months of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance paylayoff.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated or dismissed pursuant to this the School Act or Article C.24 (Dismissal of Teachers) or Article C.25 (Dismissal and Discipline for Misconduct), may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve during the thirty (1230) months of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance paydays following termination per Article C.27.3.x.

Severance Pay. a. A teacher who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is laid off, save and except a teacher who is terminated pursuant to this Article or dismissed for just and reasonable cause, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve three (123) months years following the date of layoff. This three-year period is to be extended, for any teacher who has been re-engaged on a temporary contract at any time since the date of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in At the expiration of this Agreement and/or pursuant period, the Board shall automatically pay severance pay to the School Act are not eligible for severance payteacher.

C.7.9.1 A teacher on continuing appointment who has one or more years of continuous employment with the District and who is terminated, save and except a teacher who is terminated or dismissed pursuant to this Article Section 15 of the School Act, may elect to receive severance pay at any time within twelve up to two (122) months years following date of termination. Teachers terminated pursuant to other Articles in this Agreement and/or pursuant to the School Act are not eligible for severance pay.
