Common use of Severability; Survival Clause in Contracts

Severability; Survival. (a) In the event that any provision of this Agreement shall be determined to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions of this Agreement not so invalid or unenforceable shall be unaffected thereby and shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law; and

(a) In It is further understood and agreed by the event parties hereto that if any provision of the provisions of this Agreement shall contravene, or be determined invalid under, the laws of the jurisdiction where invoked, such contravention or invalidity shall not invalidate the whole Agreement, but it shall be construed as it not containing the particular provision or provisions held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reasonin the said particular jurisdiction, and the remaining provisions rights and obligations of this Agreement not so invalid or unenforceable the parities shall be unaffected thereby construed and shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law; andenforced accordingly.
