Common use of Settlement of Units Clause in Contracts

Settlement of Units. Subject to Section 9 (pertaining to the withholding of taxes), and except as otherwise provided in Section 6, as soon as practicable after the date on which the Performance Period expires and the Committee certifies that the Company has achieved the performance goals set forth on Schedule A, and in no event later than two and a half months after the end of the Performance Period, the Company shall deliver to the Employee or his or her personal representative, in book-position or certificate form, one Share that does not bear any restrictive legend making reference to this Agreement for each Performance Share Unit earned pursuant to this Agreement.
