Serving Alcohol. Consumption of alcohol is limited to the area designated on the Alcohol Permit. The person to whom the City issues the Alcohol Permit (“Permit Holder”) may set-up his/her own bar and serve his/her own alcohol to the guests (for private events, not open to the public), with no monetary transaction. If the Permit Holder hires a caterer/bartender to provide the bartending service, the company must also provide additional types of insurance and obtain the City’s approval, and must also obtain a valid ABC license. If the event is open to the public, then the Permit Holder must have a valid ABC license. Bars can be set-up in designated areas based on the location selected by the representative from the City Department renting out the facility and as listed in the Permit. A sober (non-drinking) bartender/server, at least 21 years of age, must be present. Sellers/servers must be trained in I.D. checking and recognizing signs of intoxication. They must not sell, furnish, or give an alcoholic beverage to a person who is intoxicated. The Permit Holder may be required to provide wristbands or ultraviolet stamps, to help identify persons over the age of 21, at events that have a bar set up with bartending services. Alternative non-alcoholic beverages and food should be made available. Bartenders/caterers must clean up any beverage spillage and must remove empty bottles and cans, during and after the event. At the bar, all alcoholic beverages must be poured and served in cups; cans or glass bottles are not allowed. Alcohol and soft drinks in a glass bottle for individual consumption are not allowed. Alcohol cannot be shared with City staff or security personnel on duty during or after the event. For the health, safety, or welfare of the public, alcoholic beverage service may be terminated at any time by City staff, private security, or fire department or law enforcement officials.

When alcohol is offered as consideration (i.e. sold for a fee, a donation, included with admission, etc.) a liquor license must be obtained from the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC). Please contact MLCC directly for requirements. I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION LISTED ABOVE CLIENT’S INITIALS FOOD PREP AREA The facility has a warming kitchen available for use during events. Cooking onsite is prohibited. The kitchen must be cleaned and returned to the same condition that it is found prior to the rental. Cleaning should include the oven, oven tops, countertop, refrigerator, and sinks. Do not dispose of grease and/or food in any sink or toilet.

A Banquet License can be obtained for private one-day events such as wedding receptions, retirement parties or company celebrations. Garbage and Recycling receptacles will be provided for the proper removal of all containers and debris. • We recommend hiring a bartender for weddings with 50 people or more. If you are not having a bartender you must let the garden know the percentage of attendees that will be under the age of 21 and how you intend to prevent underage drinking. • Alcohol must stop being served at least 30 minutes before the end of your rental timeframe. It is your responsibility to make sure all alcoholic beverages containers are cleaned up and all trash is taken to dumpster at the end of the night. Event Logistics Event Setup • Vendors such as florists, bakers, and musicians must adhere to the terms of our guidelines, and it is the client’s responsibility to share these guidelines with them. Set up for your event may not begin before the contracted rental time on the day of the event. The only vendor allowed to drop off or set up items before or after your contracted rental time frame is your rental company, please see Rentals Items.
Serving Alcohol. Wine and beer may be served at the Xxxxxx Museum with the approval of the Library Board of Directors only if the sponsoring organization, sponsoring individual or licensed catering / serving vendor obtains liquor liability or host liquor liability insurance satisfactory to the town attorney’s office at least four weeks prior to the event (see attached Municipal Policy). Liquor in addition to wine and beer may be served if the sponsoring organization is a restaurant or caterer with a valid Connecticut liquor license. That sponsoring organization will submit a valid liquor license and insurance allowing it to serve liquor in addition to wine and beer satisfactory to the town attorney’s office at least four weeks prior to the event (see attached Municipal Policy). Serving Alcohol. Renter may serve alcohol on premise when done so in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local laws. Renter shall warrant that all servers of alcohol have the necessary licenses and certificates required to serve alcohol. Renter shall assume all liability in serving alcohol and provide at Renter’s sole expense insurance coverage that includes serving alcohol. Proof of insurance shall be submitted sufficient to the County’s Insurance Coordinator that liability with serving alcohol is included with insurance coverage. Proof of insurance and any permits for serving alcohol shall be in the form attached as Exhibit “B”. Limitation of Liability Renter shall release and hold harmless Grand County from liability for any injury to Renter, resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts of nature and intentional or negligent acts of third parties, but excepting intentional acts of County, and further, Renter shall indemnify and defend County against any claim for loss, damages or injury made by Renter’s guests. Renter also guarantees to have participants in activities that involve physical exertion shall complete and execute the Participant’s release form attached in Exhibit “C” prior to participating in the event.
Serving Alcohol. Clients are aware that all alcohol can only be opened and served by our staff or your TIPS trained bartenders. If you do not provide TIPS bartenders please alert us and your client so they can make arrangements to hire a TIPS certified bartender. All bartenders will abide by State Laws including; all alcohol must be served by the bartender, no open bottles or containers will be given to guests for their consumption, no guests will serve themselves, no outside alcohol will be consumed on property by guests, and all alcohol will be served to adults 21 and over who present a valid ID, no exceptions. Warning: Xxxxxxx Vineyard & Winery will notify a designated party if we observe the following problems: any guest drinking outside alcohol, any underage guest consuming alcohol, any guest who has become unruly or too intoxicated, or any guest not following set rules and laws. If problem is not corrected that guest may be asked to leave the property. Please make your bartenders aware of these rules.

This includes: plates, napkins, cups, paper towels, etc. Estancia Club will supply approved cleaning supplies and garbage bags. _ • Glitter, confetti, rice, birdseed and potpourri are not allowed at the Estancia Club facility. • Estancia Club does not provide any additional tables and chairs to be used at your event.
