Services During Construction. Attend a pre‐construction meeting with the Contractor and City to prepare for the project. Review and respond to requests for information from the Contractor. Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and conformance to construction documents. Assist in the review and negotiation of change orders. Participate in weekly construction progress meetings as needed. Prepare record drawings based on Contractor red‐lines.

Services During Construction. Objective: Provide professional services to the City during construction. Approach and Assumptions: Provide Construction Consultation and Document Review: Review shop drawings and catalog submittals of items requested in the technical specifications. Provide a written response to the contractor and the City accepting or rejecting each shop drawing and reviewed catalog submittal. This subtask assumes that the Consultant will provide up to twenty (20) hours of construction contract administrative support services by email and phone correspondence only. Services will include regular communications and coordination between Consultant and the City/contractor staff during construction, identifying upcoming technical issues/needs, as well as the scheduling, coordination, and administration of Consultant staff and resources. It is assumed that the City will be primarily responsible for construction contract administration and processing contractor pay requests. Assist in Startup, Testing, and Project Closeout: Coordinate with the contractor, the City, and manufacturer representative of the OSHG system for the scheduled testing and startup activities. This coordination will include the review and supplementation of the testing protocols developed by the contractor and manufacturer’s representative, and review of the tests and corrections. During startup, observe construction, document activities, and coordinate with the contractor per their compliance with the plans and specifications. Notify the contractor and the City of work that has not been completed by the contractor and discuss contractor rectification. It is assumed that the Consultant is not responsible for site safety or directing the contractor in their work. Attend final on-site walkthrough with City staff and prepare a letter of recommendation for project acceptance for the City. This subtask assumes that the Consultant will provide up to twenty-four (24) hours of construction support during testing and startup. Provided by City: Final completion and closeout of project with the contractor. Consultant Deliverables: Submittal and shop drawings review and documentation. Construction observation and correspondence with the City and the contractor, as requested, within the budgeted hours authorized. Construction observations reports from site visits. Attendance at startup and final on-site walkthrough. Letter recommending project acceptance.

Services During Construction. The Consultant will provide services during construction (SDC) as defined below. These services are intended to assist the City in responding to design-related questions that occur during construction. These SDC are based upon the understanding that the City will contract directly with the construction contractor and will manage the construction process to administer the construction contract, make decisions, provide approvals, and perform other actions necessary for the completion of the construction. he Consultant’s SDC are based upon the schedule and duration of construction as noted herein. Deviations from the anticipated schedule or duration of construction will materially affect the scope of services and may require an adjustment to the Consultant’s compensation for SDC. The Consultant will not be responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures of the construction contractors, nor shall the Consultant be responsible for the contractor’s failure to perform in accordance with the contract documents. The Consultant’s SDC services are based upon the City executing a contract for construction with a contractor that is consistent with the Consultant’s agreement with the City and which provide the requisite authority for the Consultant to fulfill their SDC responsibilities. Services During Construction. ESE This task is optional as needed by the county. Under this optional task ESE would participate in one pre- construction conference and answer questions as directed by the County. ESE would provide other services after contract award including reviewing contractor submittals, responding to Requests for Information (RFI), preparing and/or reviewing change orders, supporting the County on Contractor claims, and performing field visits or meetings as requested. Communication with the contractor would be logged and returned through the County to maintain continuity and lines of communication. In addition to these services listed in the Proposal for Environmental and Engineering Services in Support of HSIP Onion Valley Guardrail Project Request for Proposals, ESE could provide additional services during construction such as resident engineer, inspection, and material testing services. Services During Construction a. CONSULTANT shall review submittals from the contractor for conformance with the Contract Documents. CONSULTANT shall review and return the submittal comments to the City within fourteen calendar days.
Services During Construction. Subtenant and Subtenant's Contractors shall also have the right to use the Building's freight elevators and loading dock at no charge during Building Hours, and may use the freight elevators and loading dock outside of Building Hours, subject to a reasonable charge therefor, to reimburse Sublandlord for its actual costs, if incurred, of providing such after hours use and such access. Subtenant shall have the non-exclusive use of at least one loading dock and freight elevator during construction. Subtenant shall compensate Sublandlord at the normal hourly rates for such personnel for the services of Sublandlord's engineering personnel in connection with Subtenant's Work (including the cost of accompanying Subtenant or its agents or contractors during the performance or planning of Subtenant's Work outside of the Premises and the performance of Subtenant's Work within the Premises that may affect Building systems, and during the inspection of Subtenant's Work. Sublandlord shall endeavor to provide up to three (3) parking spaces in the loading dock area of the Building for use by Subtenant's contractors (but not customers or employees) during Building Hours, at no charge to Subtenant.

Sublandlord shall provide to Subtenant's Contractor free of charge all necessary utilities (including water and electricity but not including temporary power), hoisting (but not including an operating engineer), general security and access to the Building and the Premises. Subtenant and Subtenant's Contractors shall also have the right to use the Building's freight elevators and loading dock at no charge during Building Hours, and may use the freight elevators and loading dock outside of Building Hours, subject to a reasonable charge therefor to reimburse Sublandlord for its actual costs, if incurred, of providing such use and such access.
